STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES (SOP)
PURPOSE
These Standard Operating Procedures (“SOP”) outline the service expectations, quality standards, and professionalism required when performing cleaning services for Local Pros Cleaning LLC (“Company”). Independent contractors are responsible for the results of their work while maintaining autonomy over their methods.
Scope of Services
Contractors may be assigned the following services:
- Standard residential cleaning
- Recurring weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly cleaning
- Move-in / move-out cleaning
- Approved add-on services (appliances, interior windows, etc.)
Contractors accept or decline jobs at their discretion.
General Performance Standards
Contractors agree to:
- Arrive on time for scheduled jobs
- Complete the full scope of work assigned
- Deliver consistent, professional-quality results
- Communicate promptly regarding issues, delays, or access problems
Failure to meet standards may result in removal from future assignments.
Cleaning Expectations (Minimum Standards)
All Areas
- Dust accessible surfaces
- Wipe visible fingerprints and smudges
- Vacuum and/or mop floors
- Empty trash (if applicable)
KITCHEN
- Clean countertops and backsplash
- Clean exterior of appliances
- Clean sink and faucet
- Spot-clean cabinet fronts
Bathrooms
- Clean and sanitize toilet, sink, tub, and shower
- Clean mirrors
- Wipe fixtures and visible surfaces
Bedrooms & Living Areas
- Dust surfaces
- Vacuum or mop floors
- Make beds if requested (no linen changes unless approved)
Supplies & Equipment
- Contractors must provide their own cleaning supplies and equipment
- Supplies must be safe, effective, and appropriate for residential use
- Company does not reimburse supply costs unless pre-approved
Professional Conduct
Contractors must:
- Be respectful to clients and their property
- Avoid discussing pricing or company policies with clients
- Never solicit clients for private work
- Avoid use of personal phone except for job-related communication
Security & Confidentiality
- Do not share client information
- Do not invite unauthorized individuals into the client’s home
- Secure doors and windows upon exit
Quality Control & Corrections
- Contractors may be asked to return to correct deficiencies
- Corrections must be completed promptly when requested
Grounds for Removal
- Repeated quality issues
- Missed jobs or no-shows
- Client complaints
- Violation of agreement terms
