DEEP CLEANING – STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES
PURPOSE
Deep Cleaning services provide a more detailed and intensive cleaning beyond standard maintenance cleaning. This service is typically performed for first-time clients, neglected homes, or as a periodic reset.
Scope of Deep Cleaning Services
Includes all Standard Cleaning tasks PLUS the following:
Enhanced Cleaning Expectations
All Areas
- Detailed dusting (including baseboards, vents, and reachable corners)
- Remove buildup from surfaces (not just wipe)
- Clean door frames and light switches
- Wipe down interior doors
Kitchen (Expanded)
- Deep clean exterior of ALL appliances
- Clean inside microwave
- Wipe cabinet fronts thoroughly (remove grease buildup)
- Clean backsplash thoroughly
- Clean and polish sink area
- Spot clean inside fridge (if empty or lightly filled)
Bathrooms (Expanded)
- Remove soap scum and buildup from:
- Shower/tub
- Tile and grout (surface level)
- Deep clean toilet base and surrounding floor
- Polish fixtures
- Clean edges and corners often missed
Bedrooms & Living Areas
- Clean baseboards
- Dust blinds (surface level)
- Wipe reachable window sills
- Remove buildup from furniture surfaces
Performance Notes
- Deep cleans take significantly longer than standard cleans
- Contractors should pace accordingly and not rush
- Quality is prioritized over speed
Limitations
- Does NOT include:
- Carpet shampooing
- Mold remediation
- Heavy biohazard cleaning
- Oven interior
- Full fridge interior
